As long time reddit users (and some of us mods), we will be doing an AMA soon. We will update you on the schedule soon once that has been nailed down.
James just got off of the phone with Lejon, and he’s in. He will be playing the part of T-Bone (his in-game character’s name).
“We’re very jazzed about having Lejon on board. This really rounds out the cast of Pwned!,” said James Weeks.
For those of you unfamiliar with Lejon, he is a native of Southern California and performed his first stage performance at the age of 11, playing Travis in “A Raisin for the Sun” with the All Peoples Community Theatre of L.A.
He danced on Soul Train while attending high school. He also danced on “American Bandstand” and “Solid Gold Hits”.
Life Before Pwned!
He is most recognized in the block buster film “Pirates of the Caribbean – 2 (Dead Man’s Chest). He did a cameo in Adam Sandler’s “Just Go With It” in 2011. Disney Corporation even began the marketing deal with Lego Toys and the Lejon Black Pearl Pirate toy is included in the Lego “Bone Cage” apparatus. I mean, the dude has his own Lego figure!
Lejon’s recent television credits include NBC ‘s “Community”, “Parenthood” and Fox’s “Glee”. He also appears on the YouTube webseries “Meter Maids”. He is in several Channel 101 web shows portraying a pirate, crack head, maniacal fan, a leprechaun and many many crazy more.
He continues to round his life out by being a member of Screen Actors Guild’s Book Pals for the past 13 yrs. He reads & works with students throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Lejon also reads to preschool children in Watts, Compton and Inglewood with Emerald Chariot non-profit.
Pwned! just keeps getting better and better every day. Keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter, as the Kickstarter will be going live soon!
Want to know a little more about the ChaosNgn team?
Get to know Hannah, our uber Producer on the Kickstarter movie Pwned!
A good producer should have enough confidence to make important decisions and defend them, but should also not be afraid of drudge work. Pwned is very lucky indeed, as that’s our Hannah. The first and most important skill you need as a producer of a motion picutre is organization. They keep director’s who are bustling with energy and creativity, but can’t find their cars keys, in line.
Producers make sure that films run smoothly in all details, and take responsibility for everything.
From organizing creation and handout of Pwned flyers for the Kickstarter movie to contacting locations for shooting, and even keeping James in line (who can’t find his car keys), Hannah is already an integral part of the ChaosNgn team.
“From the moment the Pwned! project started, Hannah stepped up to the plate and started getting runners on bases,” said James Weeks, director of the Kickstarter backed movie. “She’s just as much a part of this film as I am, and I’m not sure what we would do without her. She really does want to get in there and do the hard work.”
Reviewed and evaluated by accredited film professors, Hannah has shot, edited, and produced submissions for “Master Chef” and “The Amazing Race,” as well as four documentaries of her own.
Stay tuned to Facebook and the website, as all of Hannah’s hard work on Pwned! will soon be paying off. We will be going live with the Kickstarter for the movie within the next few weeks, so updates will definitely be rolling out on a daily basis now. How exciting is that?
Ken will be handling all scoring and composition duties, as well as music direction, for the Kickstarter movie Pwned!
Here are some lists (albeit incomplete) of some of the games Ken has worked on over the years:
Now that he’s been cast, we just can’t wait to see Peter Podgursky in action in ChaosNgn’s upcoming Kickstarter movie Pwned!
If you don’t think that you can wait, either, check Peter out in Cindy and Peter vs. The Little Mermaid!
See more of Peter and crew at Grumpy Panda Films and stay tuned for more information on the Kickstarter movie campaign.
Peter Gets Pwned
Peter Podgursky. co-creator and star of the Youtube series Meter Maids, has joined the cast of Pwned! as Todd, the leader of the pack. Todd is the Captain of Calm (what little there is) in the group of gaming and geek misfits who set out on a trek across the country to find their missing friend, only to end up in mishap after mishap.
“Peter’s personality, sense of timing, and brand of comedy are a perfect fit for Pwned!. I’m honored and overjoyed that he’s joined the family,” says director James Weeks.
Peter is a film director, producer, actor and screenwriter known for his work on Meter Maids and numerous shorts. We’re very excited to have him on board and can’t wait to see him in action. See more of Todd and the gang at Grumpy Panda Films.
A Wish Come True for Pwned
Another important band has joined the cause. Nightwish will now be featured on the Pwned! movie soundtrack! We’re very excited about this announcement. Parts of the script have literally been written to correlate with one of their amazing songs.
Very special thanks to Roadrunner, Nuclear Blast, Warner Bros, and Sony Publishing.
You can find out more about Nightwish at their official website,
